ABOUT THE CLOTHING LINE, LAUDME:

Laudme is a clothing line for urban contemporary women and men. Inspired by spirit of glamour, pop art and street cultural influences, Laudme represents the future of urban apparel. Launched in 2010, the brand has already caught the attention of people across the globe including Spain, London and Australia and has plans to be the premier urban contemporary brand. 

LAUDME BROKEN DOWN & DEFINED: 

LAUD: –verb [lawd] 1. acclaim, praise, give kudos, commend, compliment, flatter, glorify, hand it to, honor

ME: –pronoun [mee] 1. the nominative singular pronoun, used by a speaker in referring to himself or herself.

LAUDME was created when the founder, Natalie Thompson (middle, in pic above) decided to offer what she found missing the marketplace; a clean admirable ode to presentations past.  She’s worked at a number of fashion brands throughout her career including internships at Catherine Malandrino and Yves Saint Laurent. Those experiences, paired with an admiration of performance art, inspired her to infuse that presentation style into an apparel brand.
